  • The Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre has attained public Benevolent Institute status and all donations to the new centre are tax deductible.
  • The Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre has Received a grant of $14,300 from the State Government to develop a business Plan for the Counselling School of Excellence.
  • The Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre has received $82,000 from the State's Neighbourhood Centres' Improvement funding.
  • A fundraising subcommittee has been established.
  • Fundraising subcommittee has identified the need to raise $1.2M. This has been achieved.
  • Sunrise Rotary Club of Hervey Bay have donated the $15,410 proceeds from the Cruise for Charity to the New Community centre project.
