As Lessee, the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre Inc. is responsible for daily maintenance and cleanliness issues such as garbage disposal and cleaning, arrangement of security, the development and implementation of an annual water management plan and five-year development plans including risk management.

The Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre Association Inc. has been incorporated since 1989.
In the last six years, the Association has grown from a 'Community House' model to a major service provider of 15 funded services and an annual cash turnover in excess of $1M annually.

Currently, the Committee consists of a retired bank manager, a counsellor, a solicitor, the Director of Wide Bay TAFE, a retired City Councillor and a business entrepreneur.

A governance model is utilised in management, and day to day running of the organisation is devolved to a paid staff member who is recruited for their experience and skills in human resources, financial management and commitment to excellence.
